While all candy is generally bad for your teeth, there are some candies that are much more damaging than others. Anything that is exposed to your teeth for long periods of time, like lollipops and sticky candies, are ones to steer clear from.
How can I curb my kid’s candy eating on Halloween?
Try to put a limit to the amount of candy that they can eat by first giving them healthy, filling snacks like fresh fruit, veggies, or cheese. You can also try to redirect their excitement over the holiday with fun Halloween activities that don’t involve eating candy. Make sure that they brush and floss their teeth before bed, which you should be doing every night anyway!
